PSAC pay equity claim for separate employers has preliminary day
in Federal Court
Counsel for PSAC and for the Attorney General of Canada
appeared in Federal Court on May 23. The Court heard arguments from
the government as to why the union's claim for pay equity for members
working for seven separate employers should not proceed. The Court
also heard the union's position on why the claim should be heard.
More information will be posted once the Court releases its decision.
